The Story Behind ‘Vayshali’ The Brand

Vayshali is a wellness brand, born out of the desire to deeply know ourselves.  When we step into the unknown journey of inner knowing and inner exploration, life can seem like an unlikely solution.  But life is just that, the journey of inner exploration and inner knowing.  So much of our focus can seem like it is focused on the external world, but in fact, all we see is a reflection of us.

As the sun dances on your skin, you see your inner light shine.  As the moon cascades over the sky, you see your dreams and subtleties.  As you long for a walk by the beach, the longing to be free like the wind washes over you.  Your world is your eye and your eye is your world.

We cannot be born with feet, only those to walk with.

We cannot be born with hands, only those to hold with.

We cannot be born with hearts, only those to love with.

Our world is an exploration of self in physical form.  The physical form is a wondrous thing, subtle yet strong, brave yet careless.  As we toss away worn cells and fallen hair, we gather food and digest sound.  As we toss away yesterdays bread and yesterdays wine, we gather soil and roots.  As we toss away exhaled air and kisses from the sky, we gather ours souls longings deep within our bones.

The bones hold strength and only break if we desire.  The blood holds magic and only fails if we wish to cut through the rubbish.  The hair holds power but only falls when we have let go.  All is a mirror and a reflection of that which we desire to experience.

The colours me and Audrey have chosen for the branding is a reflection of the inner journey to yourself and your way.

Black represents our shadows.  The dark shimmering midnight of the midnight soul.  Lost in an abyss of wonder and thought, knowing yourself can seem futile.  Only through journeying through the dark do we get to the light.  The white represents the contrasting light we see within us.  As we journey with disgust, we get to delight.  As we journey through shame we get to self-worth.  As we journey through self-compassion we find self-love.

Love is represented with the deep reds and burgundy.  The truth of who we are, deeply in love with ourselves and life.  All is love when you know the way to look at life this way, through shadow and light, we find love.  It is always beckoning us, always calling us, ‘come to me’ she calls from within.  I am with you always.

The golden shine we radiate when we discovered this truth we have found within is represented by the golden yellow.  All is a vibrant expression of love when we radiate with the glow of inner knowing.  Your life will light you up and your experiences will make you shine.

At last we come to the symbolism-the Ankh.  The eternal flame of life, flickering within all of us.  Some call this the diamond light, the diamond flame, the eternal truth and even Gods light.  It shines in all of us-luminous, beautiful, vibrant and true.  All of us know this truth deeply in our bones, deeply in our souls-the imprint of eternal truth lies in us.

I turn now to the future – where does the world take us? Where do we strive the place this diamond light within our lives? How can we show up and glow up to our fullest?

We call ourselves into ACTION.

Life does not happen by standing still.  Life happens by moving in flow.  Flowing with the seasons, flowing with the timeless nature of all things.  We voice everlasting change through our changing bodies, we voice everlasting change through our desire to be seen and share all we have learnt with one another.  We voice our everlasting change by seeing the beauty within and expressing this to the world.
